Emergency care at home involves the provision of homecare services by our healthcare professionals in order to address sudden medical conditions that require prompt attention but are not life-threatening enough to necessitate a hospital emergency room visit.
We aim to respond to emergency homecare enquiries as quickly as possible, often within 24 hours.
Life-threatening conditions such as severe chest pain, major injuries, or significant difficulty breathing should be addressed in a hospital emergency department. Emergency homecare should be considered if there is an urgent need for homecare support and care for you or a loved one.
Be ready to provide the patient’s medical history, list of any current medications, description of care requirements, and any other relevant health information. This will help us to better prepare and provide appropriate care quickly, whilst also being able to match the recipient with a suitable carer.
