Visiting Care

Visiting care refers to a service where trained home carers visit a person’s home to provide assistance with daily activities, medical needs, or companionship. These visits can be scheduled based on the individual's needs — ranging from multiple visits a day to weekly check-ins.

Visiting care is beneficial for any individuals who require support with daily tasks but still maintain a level of independence. It's ideal for elderly people, those recovering from surgery or illness, individuals with disabilities, and anyone else who requires regular assistance or a form of companionship within the home.

The frequency of visits by carers can vary greatly depending on the individual’s needs and preferences. Some may require multiple visits per day, while others might only need care a few times a week. Schedules are flexible and can be adjusted as needed, which will be discussed at the assessment stage with our expert homecare team.

While typical visiting care does not include overnight stays, we have a number of addition services, including overnight care, 24-hour care and live-in care, to accommodate the needs of clients who require round-the-clock assistance.

Visiting care allows individuals to stay in the comfort of their own homes and maintain a sense of independence whilst receiving the care they require. It can also be less disruptive than moving to a residential care facility, and it allows for more personalised attention during the visits.
